little tips

A little easy way to catch small flies and other small flying pest around your plants.
In a small bowl put a drop or 2 of soap detergent and add water .... Gently mix and place the bowl in a close proximity to your plants.
In no time you will see drowned flies in the water. That's due to surface tension, when the flies come to drink they get wet and cant escape the surface.

Safety First

Christmas is a wonderful time of year, but it can also bring new dangers for our furry friends. With all the decorations, festive foods, and extra people in the house, it's important to take extra precautions to keep your pets safe during the holiday season. One of the biggest risks for pets at Christmas is the decorations. Christmas trees, ornaments, tinsel, and lights can all pose a threat to curious pets. Make sure to secure your Christmas tree so it won't topple over if your pet decides to climb it. Avoid using tinsel, as it can be harmful if ingested, and be cautious with ornament hooks and glass ornaments. It's also a good idea to keep an eye on any electrical cords and make sure they are out of your pet's reach.

Another potential danger for pets at Christmas is the food. Many of the festive foods we enjoy can be harmful or even toxic to pets. Keep chocolate, raisins, grapes, and any foods containing xylitol out of reach, as these can all be dangerous for pets. Be mindful of bones, alcohol, and rich, fatty foods, as these can also cause harm to your furry friends. It's best to stick to your pet's regular diet and avoid giving them any holiday treats.

Finally, the hustle and bustle of the holiday season can be overwhelming for pets. Make sure your pet has a quiet, safe space to retreat to if they need a break from the festivities. Keep an eye on doors and gates to prevent your pet from escaping, and be mindful of any loud noises, such as fireworks or holiday parties, that could frighten your pet. By taking these precautions, you can ensure that your pet stays safe and happy throughout the holiday season.

Merry Christmas Puppy

Bringing home a new puppy can be an exciting and joyful experience for any pet lover. However, it's important to know that owning a puppy is a big responsibility that requires time, patience, and commitment. Here are a few things to keep in mind when you bring home a new puppy:

Firstly, puppies require a lot of attention and care. They need to be fed, cleaned, and exercised regularly. Potty training your puppy is also essential. You'll need to set up a designated area where your puppy can relieve themselves and teach them to go outside or use puppy pads.

Secondly, puppies need socialization. It's important to expose your puppy to different people, animals, and environments to help them become well-adjusted and sociable dogs. Puppy classes and playdates are great ways to enhance their socialization skills.

Thirdly, puppies need proper medical care. They'll require vaccinations and regular check-ups to ensure they're healthy and free from any medical conditions. You should also consider getting your puppy spayed or neutered to prevent unwanted litters.

Lastly, training is crucial for your puppy's development. Basic obedience training, such as sit, stay, and come, will help your puppy learn good behavior and manners. Positive reinforcement methods, such as treats and praise, are effective ways to train your puppy.

In conclusion, bringing a new puppy home is an exciting and rewarding experience. However, it's important to know the responsibilities that come with it and be prepared to provide your new furry friend with the love and care they need to thrive.
